This notice explains what we do with personal data when you use this website. It is written to meet Law No. 13 of 2016 on Personal Data Privacy Protection.
What we collect
When you browse. Nothing that identifies you. We measure how the site is used — pages viewed, which site you arrived from, your city, your device type and browser. This is aggregated and is not linked to you, your name or your IP address. We set no cookies and no advertising trackers.
When you build an enquiry list. The pieces you add are stored in your own browser and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
When you send an enquiry. Enquiries are sent through WhatsApp. We receive your WhatsApp name, your phone number, and whatever you write to us. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and your message passes through their service under their own terms.
We do not run an account system, a newsletter, or a checkout. We do not ask for your address, your date of birth or any payment details on this website.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, confirm whether a piece is available, quote a price and arrange delivery. To understand which parts of the catalogue people look at, so we can improve it. For nothing else.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to profile you.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry conversations for 24 months from your last message to us. Where an enquiry led to a purchase, we keep the related records for as long as needed to support that purchase and to meet our record-keeping obligations under Qatari law.
Usage measurement is aggregated and retained for one month.
Your rights
Under the PDPPL you may ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. You may withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@fineartqatar.com and we will respond.
You may also complain to the National Cyber Governance and Assurance Affairs, which oversees the PDPPL in Qatar.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date below. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
